Courage: How do I become more courageous and Dare Greatly?

Imagine a space where meaningful conversations take place. Imagine a circle of people from different walks of life that come together to discuss humanistic, social, philosophical and practical topics they are passionate about or they want to learn more of. Imagine a place where your beliefs are challenged, ideas are exchanged and your thinking is expanded. As the philosophers of the old times did, we sit in a circle and the host sets the topic of conversation for the circle. This particular Expanding Circle will be hosted aorund the topic of COURAGE.

COURAGE: How do I become more courageous and dare greatly?

The difference between those who succeed and live a fulfilling life and those who don’t is normally attributed to ‘Courage’. They say that most of the time it is not about having the capabilities to achieve something, but about having the courage to be ourselves, take the first step and go for what we want. That’s apparently where success really comes from.

• Are you being yourself?

• Do you have the courage to take the first step?

• Are you being BOLD about what you really want?

So, what does it mean to be ‘courageous’? What are the benefits and drawbacks of being courageous? How do you become a more ‘courageous’ person? What is the relationship between courage and fear? Do courageous people feel fear?

These are some of the questions we will be exploring at the next Expanding Circles. Join us for another inspiring and thought-provoking Expanding Circle, a space where people from different walks of life come together to share their different views and experiences on the topic chosen for the evening. Come and connect with like-minded people and be ready to leave the room inspired and reconsidering your own understanding of the topic and the fundamentals of life.

Ernesto Moreno will be hosting this evening. Ernesto is an engaging trainer and facilitator who specialise in delivering in behavioural change programmes that are both psycho-educational and experiential. In addition to his formal education in management and business, Ernesto holds postgraduate studies in Psychology of Management and People Development. Ernesto is a qualified coach and a Daring Way Certified Facilitator, a methodology based on the research of Dr. Brene Brown’s work on vulnerability, courage and shame.
