An exhibition of work by Gabrielle Bradshaw

Gabrielle Bradshaw studied at Camberwell School of Art leaving with a First Class Honours degree in Fine Art Sculpture. Whilst still at college she won the SOGAT award for work exhibited at the South London Gallery and made site specific work for the Barbican Arts Centre. Her degree sculpture was exhibited with the London Group at the Royal College.
On leaving college Gabrielle continued her studies at the Rural Development Centre in Salisbury completing several courses in forge work and she honed her welding skills working as a welder and set builder at the National Theatre in London.
Gabrielle has exhibited her work widely over the last 25 years in Britain and abroad. Solo exhibitions include: Galerie B&B Paris, Trinity Gallery Tunbridge Wells, Aquabit Gallery Berlin, Jeannie Avent Gallery Dulwich and Framework in Creekside. Her work has also been exhibited and auctioned at Sotheby’s.
Gabrielle has also worked as a television artist, writer, and presenter across all the main channels including five series of the BBC1 children’s art programme ‘Hartbeat’ with Tony Hart. She wrote and presented her own art series 5 Minute Wonder for Thames TV, from which the 5 Minute Wonder book was published, and co-created and presented Havakazoo for Channel 5.
Gabrielle works from her studio/forge in London and over the years has undertaken several commissions both private and public.
