The Future of Work
19th January 2020 · 11:00am - 1:00pm
In person | Virtual event
Sunday Assembly is a secular community that celebrates life. Our motto is “Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More.” We gather on the first and third Sunday of every month at Conway Hall to provide London with a radically inclusive, fun, and much-needed alternative to traditional religious gatherings. Instead of hymns we have a mass sing-along of pop and rock tunes with a live band.
In place of a sermon we hear insightful talks from experts on a wide range of topics. And at the end we stick around for tea and cake, forging new friendships and discussing what we’ve learned.
Our main speaker is Julian Siravo, a representative of the think tank Autonomy. Julian is an architect and urbanist from Rome. His approach to architecture focuses on a forward-thinking view, incorporating automated construction and deep insight into the purposes and uses of buildings in our modern world. He will explain to us how we should change our concept of what it means to work and which kinds of work are going to be necessary in the rest of the 21st century.
