When something has gone wrong inside the body, we have to see the problem in order to understand it. But seeing through the barriers of blood, bone and skin can be tricky.

We live in a world where advances in scanning mean that we can look deep inside the body as never before but interpreting exactly what we discover there remains a challenge. How can computers help us find problems, try out treatments and maybe even predict what could go wrong in the future?

Join engineers and scientists from the UCL Centre for Medical Image Computing to explore visionary new methods that help save lives. Take part in interactive games and activities that demonstrate the techniques used to meet the challenges of modern surgery and delve under the skin. Discover how AI is helping scientists understand and categorise dementia and see how computer models can guide radiotherapy and make surgery more precise.
