Sunday Concerts: Resol Quartet

Of the Resol Quartet‘s Conway Hall début in 2022, one audience member wrote that it was “an amazingly moving performance. I was completely enthralled from start to finish.” Their return promises to be no less inspiring, and features works by Mozart, Shostakovich and Puccini’s Crisantemi, written after the death of a close friend, and capturing the passion and romanticism for which he is known through his operas in an intimate chamber form.

Mozart | Quartet No.19 in C ‘Dissonance’ K465
Puccini | Crisantemi
Shostakovich | Quartet No.3 in F Op.73

Richard Montgomery • violin
Annabel Kidd • violin
Raphael Chinn • viola
Alasdair Morton-Teng • cello
