A trio comprising three leading young musicians, this performance culminates in Brahms’ trio for horn, violin and piano, written to commemorate the death of the composer’s mother. Along the way we explore other colourful works for this interesting combination of instruments, including the trio’s own arrangement of the overture from Humperdinck’s fairytale opera.

About the Sunday Concerts
Founded in the 1880s, our chamber music concert series is the longest-running of its kind in Europe. Conway Hall was purpose-built in 1929 to host concerts and lectures, and they have continued here until the present day. The ethos of “affordable classical music for all” still remains.
