Our Summer series will offer a perfect balance of mainstream repertoire alongside a rich selection of lesser-known works and new compositions. We are particularly excited to commemorate the centenary of composer Stephen Dodgson’s death with a special performance of his Second String Trio, and to introduce you to a composer you may not be familiar with: Kenneth V. Jones. While celebrated as a film composer, Jones’s significant chamber music output is only just beginning to be discovered.

Our concerts will be illuminated by several pre-concert talks, by Robert Matthew-Walker, Robert Hugill, and Sebastian Comberti, who will talk about his experience of meeting Kenneth V. Jones before performing his music.
