Sunday Concerts: Lumas Winds

Lumas Winds is a dynamic, young chamber ensemble based in London. Winners of the 71st Royal Over-Seas League Mixed Ensemble Prize in 2023, Lumas are committed ambassadors for wind chamber music and the rich variety of repertoire that it offers. The ensemble are Making Music’s Phillip and Dorothy Green Young Artists and will take up an Aldeburgh residency in March 2024 as Britten Pears Young Artists.

For their Conway Hall début they offer a colourful, eclectic variety of music from the classical period to the present day, showing off the versatility and potential of the wind quartet to its fullest.

Access Information

Due to the age and Grade II listing of the building, there is no lift access to rooms above the ground floor.

All the ground-floor rooms are fully accessible by wheelchair. Main Hall (street access, step-free), Brockway Room (street access, step-free), Bertrand Russell Room (street access, shallow ramp), Cafe (street access, step-free). There is also an accessible toilet on the ground floor opposite the Brockway Room.
