Conway Hall Virtual Tour

Discover Conway Hall from Anywhere – A 360-Degree Virtual Tour

Step into history with our new 360-degree interactive virtual tour of Conway Hall, a project created in partnership with Humanist Heritage and made possible by the generous support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund. As one of the UK’s only secular spaces designed for the non-religious, Conway Hall has long been a hub for ethical discussion, social reform and the arts, championing radical thinking along the way.

Conway Hall is home to the Conway Hall Ethical Society, an independent charity founded in 1793. The society’s humble beginnings as a small, freethought, dissenting congregation evolved into a collective of radicals, and social and political reformers dedicated to nonconformist ideas. So who, and what, has made Conway Hall the society dedicated to ethical enquiry it is today?

Built by 3D virtual exhibition producers V21 Artspace, this immersive tour offers panoramic views, high-definition imagery, audio commentary and video highlights illuminating the heritage of humanism and ethical thought within its walls. From Annie Besant and Charles Bradlaugh’s radical freethought publishing practices, to the groundbreaking secularist hymns of Eliza Flower, this tour illuminates the stories and impacts of those who put their revolutionary ideas into practice.

Whether you’re encountering Conway Hall for the first time, or a familiar face returning, this tour will offer a new experience and understanding of Conway Hall’s ethical history like never before.
