BSACP, Doctors for Choice & Abortion Talk:
Ceilidh and Fundraiser

Join the BSACP for a reception, ceilidh, and fundraiser for the charity Abortion Talk. This event is hosted in collaboration with partners Abortion Talk and Doctors for Choice UK.

Abortion Talk is on a mission to encourage individuals and communities to have conversations about abortion to end abortion stigma. Abortion Talk runs the UK’s first and only free, confidential Talkine for anyone who needs a safe space to talk about their abortion experience. They also run workshops for abortion providers, community groups, and activists, giving them time to explore the rewards of their work and the challenges of abortion-related stigma.

This will be a chance to not only support the work of Abortion Talk, but also a great opportunity to network with people working in abortion care, sexual and reproductive healthcare, and advocacy.

The reception will take place following the 2024 BSACP Conference at Conway Hall, from 19:30 to 22:30. There will be canapés and a bar available.

Access Information

Due to the age and Grade II listing of the building, there is no lift access to rooms above the ground floor.

All the ground-floor rooms are fully accessible by wheelchair. Main Hall (street access, step-free), Brockway Room (street access, step-free), Bertrand Russell Room (street access, shallow ramp), Cafe (street access, step-free). There is also an accessible toilet on the ground floor opposite the Brockway Room.
