The election will have passed and a government may be in place. In any event, on this day it is a chance for you to have your say.
What are your thoughts of the political parties? Their manifestos? Their ethical behaviour during/after the campaign? Could this be the end of two-party politics in the UK? Are the parties/Jo Public politically myopic? What about the media’s role? Where were the big ideas or is the economy and the NHS all we really care about? Is it time for new thinking when it comes to politics? Even new ways of running a country?
Whatever your views, and following an introduction by Professor Evan Parker – a free-thinking political thinker, we want to hear them and participation will be via 5-min “soapbox” contributions with follow-up discussions.
You are of course most welcome if you just want to witness a fascinating debate. Should be fun!
Doors 10.30. Entry £3, £2 concs./free to Conway Hall Ethical Society members.
Tea, coffee & biscuits will be available.
