Open Door 1975

Peter Cadogan introduces and guides the ‘Open Door’ viewers through a typical Sunday at Conway Hall for the South Place Ethical Society as it was in 1975.
Highlights include a lecture by Anthony Flew with Barbara Smoker, among others in the audience, asking a question on Sartre’s style.
Rose Bush is later interviewed on the community aspect of South Place Ethical Society that she remembered it from her youth.
Each of the seven appointed lecturers, at the time, are given brief overview by Cadogan and the Sunday Concerts and an art exhibition in the Small Hall (named Brockway Room in 1988) are also given some space in the programme.
