Three free talks on three philosophers!

To celebrate its recent launch, the International School of Philosophy is holding a set of talks on three very different philosophers from different periods in history. The event is free, but those who wish to attend should acquire tickets from Eventbrite.
Snacks will be provided and wine, beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase at a very reasonable price!
2.10 – 3pm ‘Reconstructing Rawls: a utilitarian critique of John Rawls’s theory of Justice’ Dr Sam Fremantle from Birkbeck, LSP and ISP
3.10 – 4pm ‘The Importance of Education in Plato’s Philosophy’
Adrian Brockless, who teaches at LSP, ISP and for the WEA.
Our special guest speaker
4.10 – 5pm ‘Nietzsche and the Death of God’
Professor Ken Gemes from Birkbeck
There will be a Q&A with the audience after each talk.
After the event the philosophical conversation will continue in a nearby public house (tbc)!
