Conway Hall is an independent charity and receives no funding from the government. Everything we do – these concerts, as well as talks, exhibitions, courses, performances, community and social events – is dependent upon our commercial activity (currently at a standstill) and the generosity of supporters like you.
Any donation you might be able to make at this difficult time will be gratefully received.

Robert Hugill: In search of Bach: Bach’s cello suites are tantalising works. We have little in the way of secure background and no autograph. We know neither when, nor for whom they were written. There is even dispute about the exact instrument for which they were written.
Conway Hall Sunday Concerts
Founded in the 1880s, our chamber music concert series is the longest-running of its kind in Europe. Conway Hall was purpose-built in 1929 to host concerts and lectures, and they have continued here until the present day. The ethos of “affordable classical music for all” still remains. Browse our website for more information about all our Spring 2020 Season music events, including concerts, pre-concert talks and recitals.
This event is in the Brockway Room on the ground floor. For accessibility info: https://conwayhall.org.uk/about/visiting-us/
It is part of Conway Hall Ethical Society’s charitable programme and is tax-exempt.
