 Sir Arthur Sullivan Songs

Widely acclaimed for key operatic title roles in the UK and abroad, the ‘deeply touching, outstanding’ (The Guardian) soprano Mary Bevan, the ‘elegant yet intense, impeccable’ (The Guardian) tenor Ben Johnson, and the ‘increasingly impressive’ (The Financial Times) bass-baritone Ashley Riches join pianist David Owen Norris for a unique programme of songs by English composer Sir Arthur Sullivan. The programme will draw on a wide variety of poets and texts, launching Chandos’s latest Sullivan recording.

This concert will be preceded by a complimentary drinks reception for ticket holders and is followed by an informal Q&A with the artists conducted by Ashutosh Khandekar, editor of Opera Now.

6.15pm drinks reception | 7.00pm recital
