Sunday Assembly London presents:

Sunday Assembly: Ways We Connect

Sunday 16th February @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Sunday 16th February @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Event Navigation

Margot de Broglie discovered the unique concept of Secret Sunrise while travelling through Cape Town, and fell completely in love with it. So much that, upon her return, she founded her own company in London, and has been on a crazy journey to launch the sessions around the UK. Secret Sunrise aims to create meaningful moments that spark real human emotions and inspire us to step into our most authentic selves.

We will also have poetry by Amy Acre. Her poem, every girl knows won the 2019 Verve Poetry Prize. She is the author of two pamphlets: And They Are Covered in Gold Light (forthcoming from Bad Betty) and Where We’re Going, We Don’t Need Roads (flipped eye, 2015) – which was chosen as a Poetry Book Society Pamphlet Choice and a Poetry School Book of the Year.

We’ll also be doing our usual: Mass singalongs to some of our favourite power ballads, hearing stories from a number of our community and drinking a vat of tea afterwards.
