London Skeptics in the Pub presents This Is Improbable Too! Father of the Ig Nobel Prizes Marc Abrahams and scientists researchers and other colourful individuals explain research that will make you laugh and then think!! Expect a plethora of scientists researchers journalists and communicators explaining research on: What’s the best way to get a monkey to floss regularly? How much dandruff do Pakistani soldiers have? If you add an extra henchman to your bank-robbing gang how much more money will you ‘earn’? How many dimples will be found on the cheeks of 28282 Greek children? Who is the Einstein of pork carcasses? And what is the significance of Mr Buckley’s exploding trousers? Along with more of the strangest and interesting research known to this pale blue dot. These were the speakers from last year expect an equally entralling calvalcade this time around. Marc Abrahams is editor and co-founder of the science humor magazine Annals of Improbable Research (AIR) . Marc is the father and master of ceremonies of the Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony honouring achievements that make people LAUGH and then THINK. The Prizes are handed out by genuine Nobel Laureates at a gala ceremony held each autumn at Harvard University and broadcast on National Public Radio and on the Internet.
