Conway Hall Library_low res-12Volunteers are an essential and respected part of the Library & Archives team, helping to organise and catalogue our book collections and assist in the day to day running of the library. We also have volunteers from The National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS) who since November 2015 have been using their skills to conserve and clean our unique collection of humanist books. Volunteers will also be receiving training to help us to in various tasks required for the digitisation of our collections. This includes creating condition reports, researching copyright and helping to catalogue scanned materials.
Our enthusiastic and committed volunteers have a variety of backgrounds including those with library experience and knowledge and interest in humanism to those who want to commit their time to helping a heritage organisation and learn new skills.
