Abstract

Large Scale social, political and economic groupings need to be broken down into smaller ones; and this includes Great Britain. History shows that the process of devolution and de-centralisation improves quality of life for everyone.

The basic conflict of our time is between the small-scale and the large-scale, and not between races or classes. If that conflict can be resolved in favour of the small-scale, then so too will other conflicts.
