there is something about collage that is addictive and seductive

it suits me with its non committal nature

when I manipulate seemingly solid brushstrokes

it taunts me with the possibility of becoming something else

it laughs at me for trying to keep alive risk and movement in a two dimensional image.

But when it happens, our connection is palpable and there is no one else on the dance floor
