Creating Inclusive Cities
15th September 2019 · 11:00am - 12:30pm
In person | Virtual event
Have you thought about urban planning before? The thought and process behind designing city spaces to live, play and work – where everyone is included
We are SO excited to have Maria Adebowale-Schwarte coming to speak with us this week! Maria is a city and an urban place, strategist. Focusing on collaborative design, policy, and funding models that create and support inclusive places.
Her career started in environment, human rights and urban planning law. She developed a portfolio of work that underpins ethically driven, co-created and economically viable places, spaces and cities as Founder of the place making consultancy Living Space Project.
Then we have the wonderful Your Friend The Poet coming to do some spoken word for us as well as our usual: Mass singalongs to some of our favourite power ballads, hearing stories from a number of our community and drinking a vat of tea afterwards.
Please remember, Sunday Assembly London is free to attend and runs entirely on donations. Please support us if you can to keep it free for those who can’t. You can become a supporter here: https://sundayassembly.charitycheckout.co.uk/
