Songhaven: Dementia-Friendly Concerts

Conway Hall is delighted to partner with Songhaven to present a new series of dementia-friendly concerts.

Each 45-minute programme includes well-loved songs from stage and screen, performed by a trio of professional classically trained musicians. These free concerts are open to all and will warmly welcome people living with dementia, as well as their friends, family carers and loved ones. The concert performance concludes with an uplifting singalong finale followed by a social afternoon tea.

Songhaven is founded on the belief that people living with dementia deserve the dignity of high-quality music experiences in an inclusive, and joyous community atmosphere. Music, and singing in particular, can be a powerful therapeutic tool to bring people together, strengthen social connections, and help to improve mood and well-being. Conway Hall is proud to continue our tradition of making high-quality music accessible to all by hosting these relaxed concerts in the stunning surrounds of our historic Hall.
