Songhaven:
Dementia-Friendly Concerts
10th May 2025 · 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Doors open: 2:30pm
In person

We are delighted to welcome back Songhaven for another dementia-friendly concert as part of our Summer Programme.
Each 45-minute performance features much-loved songs from stage and screen, performed by a trio of professional, classically trained musicians. These free concerts are open to everyone and provide a warm welcome to people living with dementia, along with their friends, family, carers, and loved ones. The concert concludes with an uplifting singalong finale, followed by a social afternoon tea.
Songhaven was founded on the belief that people living with dementia deserve the dignity of high-quality musical experiences in an inclusive and joyful community setting. Music, particularly singing, can be a powerful therapeutic tool to bring people together, strengthen social connections, and enhance mood and well-being. Conway Hall is proud to continue its tradition of making high-quality music accessible to all by hosting these relaxed concerts in the stunning surroundings of our historic hall.
These concerts are generously supported by The McLay Dementia Trust.
