Ethical Yoga – Introductory Course
24th March 2015 · 7:30pm - 8:45pm
In person | Virtual event
We hear a lot these days, that “yoga” is good for us. But why is that and what it is good for? Can yoga be for anyone? Does it need to be ‘spiritual’ to be of benefit?
Over the four-week course, you will be introduced to fundamentals of the yoga “asana”, how to align the body, counter hyper-mobility, improve posture, core strength and safety techniques to ensure your own practice is muscle and not joint based.
Nicole Frances-Galtié became a qualified yoga teacher in 2006, after completing the Yoga Alliance 200 RYT training at OmStation3 in West London. Her own practice and teaching style is focused on the physiological building blocks of a good practice. Alignment is key and understanding how each individual body responds to yoga training is of paramount importance, you’ll never be made to conform to a perfect pose, but you will learn to build a pose from the ground up, so that it’s aligned, supported, safe and beneficial.
