How To Be Authentically You using Writing and Creativity with Jackee Holder

What does it take to really be you? What excites and inspires you? How do you generate meaningful time to get to know you, while staying true to others in your life?

Following a swift and dramatic ending to a significant long-term relationship, writer and coach Jackee Holder found herself adrift. The experience of complicated grief plus symptoms of post-traumatic stress led to a deeper level of resilience and a fresh wave of creative inspiration following episodes of post traumatic growth. The good news is that you do not have to wait for a crisis to learn these lessons for yourself!

On this workshop, you will learn:

  • What being ‘you’ means
  • How to make time to be creative in the midst of your busy day
  • Understand the rhythms of post-traumatic stress and post-traumatic growth
  • How you can reframe challenging life moments into opportunities to heal
  • What journal writing exercises will support and nourish you through challenging times

Jackee Holder is a coach, coach supervisor, speaker and inter-faith minister. She works across both corporate and creative industries facilitating coaching, leadership and cultural change programmes. Jackee is a UK leading thought leader on the benefits of reflective practice, therapeutic writing and the restorative benefits of spending time with trees and in nature. She is the author of four non-fiction titles and was recently appointed as a Journal Council member of the International Association for Journal Writers (USA).
