Does success lead to happiness? What makes for a happy work life? Can we create more happiness in our daily lives? And how can we contribute to a happier world? Nic will explore these questions and more in a thought-provoking and interactive session.
Nic Marks is a world-renowned expert in happiness and wellbeing. He founded the Centre for Wellbeing at the New Economics Foundation, where his pioneering work included the Five Ways to Wellbeing and Happy Planet Index. He has been a board member of Action for Happiness since before its launch and is now founder director of Happiness Works.
This event is in support of Action for Happiness. We want to make it accessible to as many people as possible, so rather than charging a fixed fee we’re instead asking you to make a donation. It would be great if you could donate £20, but if you can spare more, or feel unable to give that much, then please give what you feel is appropriate.
Any funds raised (beyond the costs of the event) will contribute directly to Action for Happiness’ work relating to growing the movement and supporting local action groups relating to happiness and well-being.
We look forward to seeing you there!
