Director of Music Simon Callaghan, Ben Gilmore and Ashok Klouda continue their traversal of the Beethoven piano trios with the ‘Gassenhauer’ (often heard in the version for clarinet rather than violin), the effervescent G major and Op.70/2 the companion to the ‘Ghost’, which the trio performed back in March.
