Bartosz Glowacki replaces Chiaroscuro Quartet
Due to illness, not all of the Chiaroscuro Quartet are available to perform at this evening’s recital, and regrettably they have had to re-schedule.* The LIVE team have been working behind-the-scenes to secure another top-notch artist to perform this evening, and we are (jumping about the room) excited to announce:
Bartosz Glowacki, ‘accordionist of the moment’, is joyously going to step in!
If you haven’t seen Bartosz on the live circuit yet, you DEFINITELY need to attend tonight’s recital. Ear-marked early on as ‘one to watch’, the team here have been following his career with interest and we’ve seen him gracing a City Music Foundation reception (performing tango repertoire with the Ligeti Quartet) and in a truly mesmeric, muscular performance at one of Gabriel Prokofiev’s Non-Classical Recording nights at The Victoria in Dalston. It’s no exaggeration to say that he wins over the room every time, and he has a stellar programme raring to go for this evening’s recital. We’re incredibly excited to be able to welcome Bartosz this evening thanks to our links with the City Music Foundation.
You signed up to see a string quartet. We know! But come and spend your Tuesday evening with us, share a glass of something chilled with fellow music lovers and creatives, and step into one of the city’s best-kept secret acoustics as we transport you with a startlingly magical programme of accordion music. It will be different, yes, but we’re excited and you’re in safe hands.
There’s a balmy summer evening ahead. Spend it culturally. Spend it with us. And we’ll serve up one of life’s beautiful, little surprises. We hope we’ll still see you there
