SHORT INTRODUCTION: A gentle work out for your feet in a sitting and standing position to increase balance and resilience.
FULL DESCRIPTION:
What is it?
The Stiletto Detox INTRODUCTION classes aim to soften and expand the articulations and tissues in the foot with emphasis on the ball of the foot and ankle. Brief but important hints to how the foot relates to leg, pelvis, spine and head are also offered throughout.
Each 45 minutes will lead you through a set of exercises from a standing and sitting position, sometimes with the use of small soft *complimentary* ball. You can stay for 2 classes if you want the opportunity to get deeper into the work.
The Stiletto Detox IMPROVERS will start in May. You need to have attended at least 5 INTRODUCTION classes.
About the class
No need to get changed! Just take off your coat and shoes and you are ready to go! You can exercise barefoot or in socks/tights.
Who are the classes for?
These classes are for anybody who wish to neutralize the effects of wearing high heels and/or the effects of standing/sitting for many hours a day. Sports people and dancers find that the work reinvigorate their feet and support their exercise routine.
You are welcome to attend even if you do not wear high heels : the classes are open to anyone!
