Intelligence Squared: Thomas Erikson: Surrounded by Idiots and Liars

Unlike many self-help authors, the acclaimed behavioural expert Thomas Erikson has sold millions of books worldwide not by giving advice on how to better understand ourselves but by explaining how to understand the people around us.

Best known for his international bestseller Surrounded by Idiots, Erikson devised a simple, yet revolutionary method of understanding human behaviour with his four-colour system of categorising personalities as either red, blue, yellow and green.. Each colour represents different traits: bossy, analytical, friendly and optimistic.

On October 14, Erikson comes to the Intelligence Squared stage to discuss his theory of human personality as well as his new book Surrounded by Liars. He will unpack the psychological reasons behind why we lie, why it comes so naturally, and explain why some personalities are more prone to telling fibs than others.

Join us at Conway Hall for an enlightening evening where Erikson will give us practical advice for how to better understand our family, friends, romantic interests, work partners and more to discern between the honest and the liars.

Every ticket comes with a signed copy of Thomas Erikson’s Surrounded By Liars.
